If you are planning to move to a new area you will need to ask your daughter’s current Leader for a Transfer (T/C) card.  This is the same card whether your daughter is a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide or Senior Section member. 

• Your daughter’s current Unit Leader will fill in the first section of the card.
• There is a freephone number provided on the card. Call this number to find out the details of a contact in your new area.  This contact will be able to put you in touch with a new unit.
• When your daughter starts her new unit, she and her new Leader will complete the final part of the form to send back to her previous Leader.  There is space for a personal message and it allows your daughter to state whether she would like to keep in touch with her previous unit or not.

Top tips

• When you speak to the contact make it clear that your daughter is a transfer rather than a new member.
• Units in your new area may have lists of girls waiting to join so please ask about a transfer place as soon as you know you are moving.
